Summary:

Duties:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors - Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication management - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities - Monitor client's health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Proficient in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) - Familiarity with home care systems and procedures - Ability to lift and transfer clients safely - First aid certification is preferred but not required - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature If you are looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference in the lives of others, apply now!
